LACER is part of the Department of Energy, Environmental, & Chemical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. The laboratory is directed by Dr. Richard Axelbaum.
LACER is dedicated to combustion research associated with production of energy and advanced materials. The focus is towards application-driven fundamental research. There are a variety of projects in progress in the laboratory:
